WHO WE ARE

The Academy of Emergency Medicine (AEM) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Slovakia. We focus on humanitarian aid, training, education, advisory, and assistance in the field of emergency, tactical, and combat medicine and pre-hospital healthcare both domestically and internationally.

WHAT WE DO

HUMANITARIAN AID

We operate in environments where healthcare is limited or unavailable. We provide aid in remote and austere areas during armed conflicts.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION

Our courses are designed to manage critical situations, with emphasis on practical skills, decision-making under pressure, and the application of procedures in real-world conditions.

ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE

We provide professional support to individuals and organizations operating in unstable and high-risk environments. Our recommendations are based on field experience and reflect specific needs.

HOW WE DO IT

Our activities are based on internationally recognized standards, professional guidelines, and practical experience from real-world environments. At the same time, we create opportunities for individuals and organizations to engage—whether through professional involvement, following our activities, or supporting our projects.
